I want to transfer 150K USD cash to my US Chase bank account from Vietnam. Is this possible and how?|||Deposit it in an account at the JP Morgan Chase Bank in HCMC Vietnam...
Address:
15th Floor, Saigon Tower
29 Le Duan Boulevard, District 1
Ho Chi Minh City
Vietnam
Phone: +84 8 3823 6270
Fax: +84 8 3823 6271
Then ask the bank to transfer it to your US Chase Bank account. That's probably is easiest way as it is all within the Chase organization.|||wire transfer to an account over in the US of someone of your relative name as personal or as a business transaction for payment of something you're planning to buys...make sure to do the paperwork's as a legit..otherwise, the person on other end might ending up paying some hefty tax from the IRS|||If you can PROVE you brought it into the country, you can take (or wire) it back out. If you don't have proof, you'll have to risk smuggling it into another country whose banking laws are less strict.
The safest way to do it without proof is to take several trips to Cambodia carrying only the amount allowed by law ($7000 usd, I believe).
@ OngJon, Anh trai, if he's willing to trust me with that kind of cash, I'll give you 20% of my cut for the thumbs-up. How would a chubby, round-eye like me be able to strap 5 or 6 kilos of gold on my body and fool the Viet Customs? I'm very "sensitive" about my weight, don't cha know lol. It's not like they have those new X-Ray machines. My biggest problem, when flying in America, is fighting off the female (and probably male too) TSA agents who've seen how "manly" we former jar-heads are LOL. "Jar-Headedness is next to godliness" as my former DI used to remind us.
You should send me an email sometime. We don't live that far apart in the "world", and I'll be in VN to round up the boss and children for their trip to America this summer.
Semper Fi!|||well, the most obvious way is a swift transfer through an international bank, or any bank with international services. i think you need to get a swift code for your US Chase bank, which you can get by asking. it only takes a day or two at most to transfer the money. you could also try western union.|||If everything is legit, follow Trant's advice. If it's not, you're screwed.
If you try to take it out of Vietnam without declaring and you get caught, they'd give you $7,000 and keep the rest.|||..send it c/o rick m..he'll take care of the rest ..lol [ i get 10% rick]
