If I earn 70000 usd yearly before tax, single and live alone, how much will I have in my pockets after tax?

Please help me, an estimate would be good!|||What state do you live in? Need to know that to tell you whether you have state income tax to deal with or not. Also, do you itemize or take standard deduction? That will also affect how much after tax is left in your pockets.|||Depends on how much you pay for housing(if you want to give money to your church or a school or something so you know they are not just spending it on stupid things)|||Somewhere between 45 and 50 grand take home. It depends on what state you are in and how much/if you are adding to a retirement account. Assuming there are not any other outstanding garnishments (child support) on your earnings, that is a reasonable amount to expect to take home if you are grossing 70000.|||because of your tax bracket the federal government is going to take a nice wopping sum. Depending upon what your state tax is and if your city or municipality takes taxes from you, as well as school tax you that comes out of your pay, I'd say between 48,000 and 51,000|||all those answers are great, no more is needed|||Try this calculator (see link below). I put in your information and came up with an estimated federal tax liability of $11,736 (assuming you don't itemize deductions). In addition to that, you'll also have to pay FICA (7.65% of your gross pay which is $5,355 in your case), and state income tax (if applicable). Also, you'll proably also have some money for health insurance and perhaps a 401(k) withheld from your check, which will reduce your take home pay.|||depends on what state you are in. i was in wisonsin and made 68k one year and i want to say they took about 15k from me in taxes that year.

how much did i get back on my tax return. not 15 k. not even 1/3rd. and i have 2 kids.

What is the best camera I can for about 1300 usd?

I don鈥檛 know much about cameras, but I want a camera which can capture scenes nicely, and has filters for me to play with.|||Get a Canon 600D (known as the t3i in America) with some good lenses. I recommend the Canon 50mm f/1.8 and the Canon 85mm f/1.8. In my opinion, that's the best way to start off.|||Canon makes some amazing camera with high quality photos and it also makes movies and has some built in filters. They don't cost as much as you state so you could get a good camera and buy additional filters for it if you like.

Unless you want to go pro the two best on the market are Canon and Nikon but Canon has more versatility then Nikon with the lenses.|||Nikon D7000 is the best for your price.

What is the cheapest way to convert currency, like my USD into KRW?

I know they can charge a hefty fee at the airport for converting currency. What can I do to avoid a fee and get a free exchange?|||I would use a debit card to withdraw money in South Korea as long as your bank is not going to charge high fees per transaction. Alternatively, look at purchasing with a credit card - again check fees first. Otherwise change a small amount at the airport and check out a few banks when you hit town. Hotels will change, but often at unfavourable rates.|||The seller's rates for USD are different (and lesser) from buying rates. i don't have much idea about all this but basically you can never get a free exchange. Airports always charge a hefty fee. They rob people. A bank in the city downtown (in Seoul?) would be a better place to get exchange. At the airport get only what you need for a day or till you visit the bank. Do call a bank before hand. :-P

Good luck.

How much money USD needed for 1 week South Lake Tahoe Trip?

Me and My Friends are planning to go to South Lake Tahoe in early December.

I need to know how much I need to save up for:

-Gas either for Honda Accord or Cadillac Escalade

-Food such as groceries and restaurants, munchies when we stop at gas stations

-Fun Activities such as dog sledding, snow mobling, movies etc etc

|||Hello!

Up in Tahoe right now the gas prices average 2.99-3.50 a gallon. You know your car bet, so do the math on that one.

Hotels average 50 bucks-250 depending on where your staying starting at Motel 6 for cheap, and good casino hotel rooms for 80-200 or so a night, and all being more expensive friday/sat.

Food is food no matter where you go, eating out obviously is more expensive then eating in, but theres tons of choices from McDonalds to Casino Buffetts that you can possibly get away with something around 10-15 a person depending. Then of course theres very fine dining that will obviously cost alot more.

If your 21 and looking to drink at the clubs and bars, you average about 5-8 for an average drink, unless you find some local spots w/ drink deals like 3 dollar drinks.

Snow mobiling usualy runs about 130-250 a person depending on what kind of trip you want to take, and about 20 bucks or so for clothing rentals.

:)

Why is the USD to EURO exchange rate different if you exchange cash at the bank VS using the ATM for euros?

I heard he ATM gives a better exchange rate. By why?

Why isnt the rate the same no matter which way you choose?|||It depends on the country and area. Generally the reason is ATMs only take 1 or 2 people to take care of but banks have a higher overhead with facilities and personnel.

I always read that if u invest 6 USD in a month u could get more than a thousand dollars so i read it and thought uhmm maybe its true but i wanna be convinced for me to try it so has anyone tried it or i just want your opinions with a couple of reasons.|||Scam. How much in USD will it cost to open a company in India, how long will it last?

Also if one of founders/directors is not resident is it compulsory to be in India and be present during all procedures or all can be done by resident director ?|||The cost of opening / incorporating / registering a company in India exactly depend upon the main objects of the company and its proposed share capital. Additionally, once a company is formed, there are some recurring costs involved to maintain the company by way of periodical / annual compliance, even if the company doesn't have any business meantime.

It is not necessary to have the promoter / founder / director resident in India for the procedural compliance you mentioned in your question. There are legitimate ways out to meet the compliance.|||Depends on the cost of the real estate, renting, leaseing over there
