Do we have to pay US income tax if our earning is only USD 15,000 per year?

Do we have to pay US income tax if our earning is only USD 15,000 per year? What is earning / year that will require that we pay income tax?|||Everyone does.|||yes. www.irs.org|||Yes.|||that's more than I've ever made so the answer is yes. You at least have to file.|||You may or may not depending on a lot of variables, but you still have to file, even if you dont owe anything.|||That depends on who the "we" is. A single person will pay taxes on income over $8450. A married couple filing a joint return would not owe taxes unless their joint income if over $16,900.|||I believe that if you make over 5,000 usd then you have to pay income taxes but if you claim married and 1-2 they will not take hardly any taxes do that for about 5 months then go back and re-do your tax form to your normal thing and then at the end of the year you will get money back and also ask about earned income credit and always add any donations to church, salvation army etc etc..|||That depends upon your filing status. A married couple with that income would not have a tax liability and would not need to file a return. A return would be required to receive a refund of any taxes withheld, though.

A single person with that income would have to file a return.

The income threshold for a single filer is $8,450. For a married couple it's $16,900.|||if you are couple then no need. if you are single you have to . if that is the case i can suggest with some site which can file your return and get you some deductions. here are some of those
