Can I play psp games from the memory card rather than the USD game cartridges?

I bought my son a psp 1000 for Christmas, and now it will not recognize that there is a USD cartridge in the system. Can I download games from the psp store onto a memory card and play them that way?|||you can just go to the plastation network tab, create or sign in to an account and but psn money and download from there. or you could get media go (a free computer program that lets you access the psn on the computer and download.

(9 bucks plus s/h on the web) and u need the software that u put on ur mem card (a magic memory stick) its real easy to do and then u can also download ur games for free off of the web or rip the ones u have to ur mem stick with a program called umd gen. Go to psp-hacks.com or pspmod.com and read the tutorials on how to hack ur psp u want to get firmware called GEN D3|||Yeah, but not every game will be on the store. The games also take up a fair amount of space, so you will need something like a 16GB memory card. It would probably be cheaper to get your son's psp repaired. It wont cost as much as buying all your games again off the PS Store.

I just saw the comment above, you wont want to hack the psp. It voids the warranty and it is against the law. Sometimes it can brick the psp aswell.|||no|||yes they are iso and cso but you have to hack your psp|||Dont hack your psp just go online to the playstation store and download games from there.|||you need to create pandora here it shows u how to do it www.psphacks.com
