Why has the falling USD got to do with Food Prices?

I heard on CNBC the other day that the falling USD has contributed to the rise in food prices. May I know why is this so? How has the falling USD affect food prices to rise?

the dollar goes down it costs more to by from other countries I.e fuel , fuel up = transport up = price to you at the shop up.


the same with all produce bought in to US.
