Hi, I am planning a trip to london soon and was wondering, before my return trip back to the U.S if I can have my currency exchanged back to usd and also what places aside from an airport this canbe done at. Thanks.|||At any bank, any Post office and in many cities are exchange shops...at the airport, all notes, not coins, check the different banks exchange rate boards normally hung on the bank wall.........have a lovely visit.......and get out of London if you can to see the real England, not just the expensive tourist bits in London..........................or you are short changing yourself big time!|||Most Post Offices have Change facilities and good rates . They are open longer than banks and are more convenient and in large and small places . You can change pounds to dollars ( no commission ) over the counter - great service .|||Of course you can , we are not some kind of third world country over here , you can exchange your cash at any bank or building society as well as at travel agents , post offices and numerous other places.|||you can go to a bank and they will exchange your money for you.|||Bank or a post office.
Even the Co-Op does exchange now.
I think most places do, although I'd go with a post office :)|||Of course. A bank it's called I believe.
