How can so many students afford a USD 2200 iPhone?

At my university, a large part of student have a USD 2200 iPhone. Is there some rebate I'm missing or a technology loophole? How can a student budget afford this?|||A onetime payment of $300.00 is nothing. Just fork out the money, 30-60 days from now you should be financially recovered and you'll still have an iphone that can do all kinds of stuff.|||I don't think the iPhone cost USD 2200. It's price tag is closer to $300 - $400. If it is $2200, I would have to agree with previous answers...parents are probably paying for it.|||they probably working part time or its their parents that pays the bills.|||spoiled kids, rich parents.
