Any Cheapest way to clear USD cheque in Singapore?

I am internet marketer and start getting USD commission cheque from US bank. Anyone can suggest me what is the cheapest way to clear usd cheque in Singapore? I found out if i clear with local bank, the charges takes almost 20-30sgd and takes almost 1 month to clear. Amount not big, just a couple hundreds of USD dollar. Please help. Thanks!|||CyKang





You bank cannot clear u.s. dollar checks except on a collection basis. As we cannpt clear your singapore check through our clearings. You should request the maker to stop payment on the check and wire the funds to you (cost approx. $50.00 U.S.) or if you both have PayPal, credit that way using the code as other service. The only other option is for the U.S. company to stop payment on the check and go to their bank and get a foreign draft payable to you thru a Singapore financial institutiion, Cost approx, $15 U.S.)
